About Me
I am a senior at Harvard, and this May I will be graduating with my bachelors of computer science. I am interested in systems programming and have also recently gotten into web development. I love sharing my love for learning and computer science. I was a math tutor during high school and now tutor college students in computer science. Non-academic interests include flameworking and archery.
Education
Harvard University:
Bachelors of Computer Science - 2022
Relevant coursework: Data Structures and Algorithms, Machine Learning, Systems Programming and Organization, Databases, Systems Security, Abstraction and Design in Programming, Large Scale Networking, Probability, Linear Algebra.
Centennial High School:
Class of 2019
Experience
Amotions Inc. (Career Development Startup):
Software Engineering Intern --- April 2021 - Present
Using Next.js, designed and developed a video content distribution system allowing instructors to upload videos and distribute them to specific customers. Assisted with the user experience (UX) design and structure of instructor defined exercises. Created backend systems to store user information, permitting the delivery of customized content.
Boston Children's Hospital:
Undergraduate Researcher --- Aug 2021 - Present
Developing tools using MATLAB to analyze EEGs and MRIs of drug-resistant epileptic children to detect the brain regions where their seizures are arising (epileptogenic zones). Developing a neural network to successfully define these zones. This info, paired with targeted surgery, will help epileptic children become seizure-free.
Harvard University:
Undergrad researcher: Neural Networks for Materials Science --- Feb 2021 - Jan 2022
Using PyTorch, designed and implemented a general eigenvalue differential equation solver. The data-free neural network architecture efficiently supports multiple outputs, ensuring outputted wave functions are normalized and orthogonal. Implemented Metropolis Monte Carlo integrator for fast and scalable high-dimension integration.
Harvard ARC:
Peer Tutor, Systems Programming and Machine Organization --- Aug 2021 - Present
Teach and customize course content for students seeking outside class assistance. Provide 1:1 instruction.
Harvard GAMI (Global Alliance for Medical Innovation):
Data Transformation Team Member --- Feb 2020 - Feb 2021
Gathered and analyzed iPad pencil drawing data to detect various neurodegenerative diseases using ML models.
FRC Robotics, Team Tators:
Programmer --- Sept 2015 - Aug 2019
With team, built three robots that placed in the top 8 in world competitions. Faced unique yearly challenges. Using C and Java created autonomous control schemes based on sensor input. Wrote hardware tests to ensure reliability and repeatability. Developed custom logger for efficient debugging and data collection. Developed intelligent acceleration controls and motion profiling. Implemented autonomous sequences and complex safety checks.
